There’s some crazy stuff going on in the heavens lately. Have you noticed? Between the mysterious interstellar object 3I Atlas, NASA’s recent mention of a small “second moon” (2025 PN7) traveling with Earth, and several new comets entering our solar system, it’s hard not to wonder what it all means.
Many of us who love both science and scripture are watching the skies and asking—are these the signs Joseph Smith and other prophets told us to watch for?
🌠 Signs in the Heavens and on the Earth
Right now, 3I Atlas—an interstellar visitor—is passing behind the Sun. NASA’s usual photo updates have paused due to the government shutdown, and speculation is buzzing. Some have even wondered if it could be connected to the City of Enoch returning or be the sign of the Son of Man itself.
Whether it’s a comet, an asteroid, or something entirely different, these celestial movements stir something in us. They remind us that we were told to watch.
Joseph Smith once said,
“If our souls and our bodies are not looking forth for the coming of the Son of Man… we shall be among those who are calling for the rocks to fall upon them.”
Watching the signs keeps us awake and spiritually aligned.
🔭 Prophecy, Puzzle Pieces, and the Renovation of the Earth
In this episode, I share why I don’t believe 3I Atlas is the ultimate sign of the Son of Man—and what still needs to unfold first. Joseph Smith and other early prophets spoke of Jerusalem being rebuilt, the temple restored, and waters flowing from under it before Christ’s appearance.
They also foresaw dramatic earth changes—continents joining again, mountains made low, valleys lifted, and even the City of Enoch returning to unite heaven and earth.
