Messages from the Body

Just as nature speaks to us through symbolism and sends messages to us, our own bodies speak to us through the aches, pains, ailments or disease we experience. This isn’t to say that all infirmities or bodily ailments are caused by emotions, nor that they will be instantly fixed if we address the emotions. But stress and blocked emotions can cause dis-ease in the body which eventually can show up in physical symptoms. The body will give us clues as to what we are not addressing. Sometimes it even screams for our attention. It’s always a good idea to address unprocessed emotions or trauma. It’s a liberating process and just might help you physically as well.
