White Albacore Tuna Salad Recipe
Quick, easy, healthy and delicious white albacore tuna recipe – includes grapes, cucumbers, tomatoes, basil, etc.
My mother-in-law knows I love white albacore tuna. This Christmas she sent us a “surprise of the day” 12 Days of Christmas box. She instructed us to pull a random gift out of the box each day leading up to Christmas. One day, I drew out a 3-pack of white albacore tuna. Nobody was ever as excited to receive a can of tuna as me!
I put it to good use creating some White Albacore Tuna Salad. Here’s what I include:
- 1 8-ounce can of White Albacore Tuna
- Mayonnaise – enough to make it the consistency you like
- 1 TBSP of sweet pickle relish
Mix that up and serve on tomato wedges. I like to add things like cucumber slices and red grapes. Sometimes I also throw in some fresh basil or a sliced boiled egg. It’s a great way to eat tuna salad without a lot of carbs – no bread needed.
