Sunsets: A Lesson in Nature’s Equality
Each sunset is unique. There’s not one that is the same, even when you’re looking at the same patch of sky night after night after night. It’s easy to let the days run into each other, going through the motions, head-down, nose to the grindstone, and miss out on the wonders and beauties to be found in each new day.
When we pause to watch a sunrise or a sunset, or notice some small flower, insect or frog, I believe God smiles down us… happy that we paused to notice the daily gifts He’s showered upon us. These gorgeous and intriguing gifts don’t cost us a dime. They’re given freely to the rich, the poor, the happy, the sad, the struggling or succeeding.
There’s great equality in nature. It treats us all the same. The photos in this post were all taken this evening on our property in Northwest Georgia.
