Are You Seeing and Receiving God’s Provision?
Could you use more of God’s provision in your life? Do you feel like you need something and it’s just not showing up? If so, I have a word of encouragement for you from the Father. This is from Luke 12:24:
“Consider the Ravens for they neither sow nor reap, which neither have storehouse nor barn and God feedeth them. How much more are you better than the fowls?”
Luke 12:24
I’m a birdwatcher and so I’m constantly noticing how God is providing for the birds. They’re pecking around, getting seeds or worms or bugs. They have what they need. And as I’ve started to learn about medicinal and edible plants that grow freely in my environment, I have learned that God is constantly providing both healing and nourishment. But the problem is that in our modern world we just don’t notice it. We don’t know how to food forage. We don’t know how to interpret the provision God is giving us. We don’t see the value in it.
God is constantly giving, but we can’t receive it because we don’t expect it to look the way it’s appearing. We expect it to look like something packaged from the store. God is providing. So, what if He’s providing in other ways for you, and it’s just showing up in a way that you don’t expect it to? Or not exactly how you want it to?
Look around, open your eyes, and start to notice how God could be providing for you. It may take a little education. It may take a little bit of looking around and digging, but it’s there. So, look for God’s nourishment. It’s everywhere!
