Encouragement When You’re Feeling Discouraged or Alone
Do you ever feel discouraged? Lonely? Like nobody really cares or understands you and what you’re going through? You may feel like God has asked you to do something that is beyond you. That’s how the prophet Jeremiah felt. The encouragement the Father gave Jeremiah is equally applicable to you.
Encouragement from the Father
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
Jeremiah 1:5
God knew you before you ever were formed in your mother’s womb. He sanctified you and ordained you to a specific role or mission. As you turn to God, and rely upon His power, you will be able to fulfill that mission. You may feel inadequate at times, but just as God promised to help Jeremiah, he has promised to help you.
