What Is the SimplyAlign Method™?
You may be wondering how the SimplyAlign Method™ works and how it can help you in your life, career, business, relationships and health.
The SimplyAlign Method™ is a system which looks at the underlying thoughts and emotions that are controlling your beliefs and your actions. It addresses them at the root. As you address the debilitating root causes of self-sabotage or less-desirable circumstances, results can change for the better. In other words, if you align your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs with success, you reap success in your life. SimplyAlign™ is about alignment.
Let me explain how this works…
I’ve often said that success in life and in business is 95% in the mind. You can do all the right things, but if you do them with an attitude of failure or doubt, you will sabotage your outcomes. Anytime we set out to make big changes, our subconscious mind says, “Whoa, wait a minute, this is change. Change is dangerous. What we’ve been doing is working. After all, I’m still alive. Don’t rock the boat. The status quo is safe. Changing something could get me killed.”
The subconscious mind will then proceed to sabotage the efforts for any major change.
The Subconscious Mind And Your Beliefs About Life and Success
The subconscious mind also holds our beliefs about life and how the world works. A friend once told me about how she crafted bead bracelets in first grade and sold them to her classmates for a dollar. One of the parents got mad and told the teacher it was wrong for the little girl to be taking money from her classmates. The little girl got in trouble and had to give all the money back to the children. At a young age, the girl formed a belief that selling things she created was wrong. As an incredibly talented adult, she repeatedly hit what Bob Proctor refers to as a “terror barrier” every time she tried to operate her own business. Finally, she got a day job.
Why? Because her subconscious mind believed that selling her talents, skills or creations was dangerous. Selling meant humiliation, getting in trouble, and ostracization from her community of peers. As far as the subconscious mind is concerned, we live in caveman days. In his book, “Linchpin,” Seth Godin refers to the subconscious as “the lizard brain.” Ostracization from the community meant death for the caveman.
While we have lots of wonderful beliefs in our subconscious minds, we also have many limiting and incorrect beliefs that sabotage what we’re trying to do. For the subconscious, not only is change dangerous, but also standing out from the crowd can get you eaten by a saber-toothed tiger.

How Your Thoughts Impact Whether You Succeed or Not
Our thoughts form and reinforce our subconscious beliefs. Subconscious beliefs also cycle back around to our conscious minds as negative thoughts about ourselves and our possible outcomes. For example, I’ve rarely met an author who at some point didn’t think one or more of these types of thoughts:
- My ideas aren’t unique enough.
- No one wants to hear what I have to say.
- I probably won’t be able to sell any books.
- I’m not a good enough writer.
James Allen articulated the power of thought in his book, As A Man Thinketh.
“Thoughts of fear, doubt, and indecision crystallize into weak, unmanly, and irresolute habits, which solidify into circumstances of failure, indigence, and slavish dependence: lazy thoughts crystallize into habits of uncleanliness and dishonesty, which solidify into circumstances of foulness and beggary….
On the other hand, beautiful thoughts of all kinds crystallize into habits of grace and kindliness, which solidify into genial and sunny circumstances.
Pure thoughts crystallize into habits of temperance and self-control, which solidify into circumstances of repose and peace: thoughts of courage, self-reliance, and decision crystallize into manly habits, which solidify into circumstances of success, plenty, and freedom.
Energetic thoughts crystallize into habits of cleanliness and industry, which solidify into circumstances of pleasantness: gentle and forgiving thoughts crystallize into habits of gentleness, which solidify into protective and preservative circumstances.
Loving and unselfish thoughts crystallize into habits of self-forgetfulness for others, which solidify into circumstances of sure and abiding prosperity and true riches.”
James Allen, As a Man Thinketh
As we think, so we feel. As we feel, so we believe. As we believe, so we act (or don’t act). Our thoughts, emotions, and actions produce our results. If you don’t like the results you’re getting, change your thoughts, emotions, and actions.
The SimplyAlign Method™ developed by Carolyn Cooper (in which I am certified) is a system which looks at the underlying thoughts and emotions that are controlling your beliefs and your actions. It addresses them at the root. As you address these debilitating root causes, results may change for the better.
Anyone who desires to learn this method may do so with application, training, and practice. There is nothing mystical or supernatural about it. It is a simple, clean system for addressing the underlying causes of the results you are getting in your life. Some results you may want to keep. Others may not be working for you. Inherent in the method is a “do no harm” safety system. SimplyAlign™ only identifies and releases what no longer serves you. It cannot be used to harm anyone or anything.

The Impact of Emotions on Your Outcomes
We’ve talked about thoughts. Let’s talk about emotions for a moment. Emotions are known to affect everything from our relationships, to our success in life, to even our health. Let’s take a look at the emotions that are created by stress, just as an example. According to the Mayo Clinic, these are a few of the symptoms of stress:
Body
- Headaches
- Muscle Tension / Pain
- Chest pain
- Fatigue
- Change in sex drive
- Stomach upset
- Sleep Problems
Mood
- Anxiety
- Restlessness
- Lack of motivation / focus
- Feeling overwhelmed
- Irritability / anger
- Sadness / depression
Behavior
- Headaches
- Muscle Tension / Pain
- Chest pain
- Fatigue
- Change in sex drive
- Stomach upset
- Sleep Problems
That’s a lot of symptoms associated with stress alone! The body stores emotions and thoughts. Like James Allen said, they “crystalize” and show up in our outer environment.
Bob Proctor explained emotion as vibration:
“If you ask a person how they feel, what they’re really telling you is their conscious awareness of the vibration they’re in. If a person says, I don’t feel very well, that person is probably in a very negative vibration, and if a person says I feel wonderful, they’re in a very good vibration.”
Bob Proctor
Our brains produce waves that have frequencies to them. Our emotions are vibratory frequencies. Have you ever stepped into a room and sensed that the two people in the room had just had an argument? You just felt something was off? You were picking up the vibration in the room. Animals sense these vibrations. For example, predators sense fear and then attack. Fear means the other creature would make an easy meal.
“Vibration is something that must be understood if you’re going to take control of your health, it must be understood if you’re going to take control of your relationships, it must be understood if you want to become wealthy.”
Bob Proctor
As SimplyAlign™ Practitioners we are taught to tune into and raise vibrations.
Continuing with Bob Proctor’s explanation of vibrations:
“You’ll often hear a person who went for a walk in the woods, they said it was so pleasant, the vibration of nature is perfect. That’s why a walk in the woods leaves you feeling so good.”
“Fear is a very negative vibration, it’s a very negative emotion, it’s caused by doubt and worry, which is caused by ignorance. Solomon said; In all your getting, get understanding.” (Proverbs 4:7)
“That’s why people that are doing what they love never have to work again. They spend their whole life in a wonderful vibration.”
Bob Proctor
Using a form of testing known as kinesiology (or muscle testing), SimplyAlign™ practitioners can determine how weak or strong or how low or high a vibration is. Positive emotions resonate at a higher frequency. Love, joy, gratitude, confidence are all higher frequency vibrations. Sadness, depression, anger, frustration, grief are all lower vibrations. Yes is a stronger/higher vibration than No.
With the SimplyAlign Method™ we can identify the lower vibration areas where limiting beliefs or emotions are trapped and raise the vibration so that these beliefs and emotions can be released. By releasing them (or raising the vibration) in the various systems of the body, things that have kept you trapped, stuck, blocked, or confused can be “cleared.”
While altering your beliefs can impact your health for the better, we are not medical doctors. We aren’t diagnosing you. We are not “healing” you. We’re simply getting to the root thoughts, emotions, and beliefs that may be stressing your mind and body and then helping you release them. Everyone knows if you reduce stress, you’ll have less negative symptoms. Other negative emotions work similarly. Your body knows how to heal itself. When you remove the lower vibrations and stuck emotions, the body has a better chance of healing itself.

What Can I Expect from a Session?
You will come away feeling more hope, more clarity, more confidence and more empowered to take your next right steps.
Your physical symptoms may or may not go away after a SimplyALIGN™ session. What we are doing does not replace seeking professional medical or psychiatric help. It also does not replace prayer. Our objective is to help you release any root emotions, thoughts, or limiting beliefs that may be contributing to the unwanted results in your life.
It’s kind of like I’m a cleaning lady who comes in and cleans the clutter out of the way. You might be trying to walk out the door to a new life, but there is a mound of boxes crammed in the hallway blocking the door. In a SimplyAlign™ session (which typically lasts about 50 minutes), together we can move a lot of boxes out of the way!
With the boxes gone, you have greater mobility and more options to use your own freedom to choose a higher, better path. It’s still up to you to choose. No one can make you walk down the hall and out the door, but now you have more freedom to do so!
