From Workaholic to Nature Enthusiast:
A Journey of Trust in Jesus Christ and His Transformative Power

Marnie and Dave in Puerto Rico

Once a workaholic and techy business consultant, I spent my days helping people build online businesses and monetize their ideas. As a Christian work-at-home mom, I leaned on my Savior Jesus Christ to help me build my business, but I did so with the common belief that I had to pray like it all depended on God and work like it all depended on me. I often felt like a rat on a wheel – constantly spinning for new ideas, working long hours, and praying my efforts eventually paid off.

Everything changed when I married Dave Kuhns. He saw through my relentless drive and invited me to let go of my financial worries. With his support, I began to explore my creativity and talents. Pottery classes, music, photography, nature walks, and traveling became my new pursuits. Dave introduced me to the wonders of nature—canoeing, birdwatching, and the magic of pollinators and native plants.

This shift led me to a profound realization

Our Creator, Jesus Christ, is always providing for us. We often limit our ability to receive solutions by believing we must work tirelessly to earn what we need. In truth, happiness and joy are free, and answers are all around us in nature. By observing, learning, and receiving what comes our way, we discover that we already have everything we need. Inspiration and solutions are woven into the fabric of the world around us, waiting to be uncovered.

My journey is a testament to the power of trusting in Jesus Christ and His transformative power. By embracing creativity and the natural world — and the inspiration and joy Jesus Christ offers there — I’ve found a life of peace and fulfillment. I invite you to join me in this journey, to see the abundance that surrounds us, and to trust that our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and angels are on our side.
